Why Maritime?
US maritime industries are found in nearly every state and employ more than 400,000 workers across the nation. maritime professionals find themselves in a variety of employment fields such as, shipyards, marine terminals, fishing, aquaculture, seafood processing, commercial diving, and of course marine transportation. There are approximately, 2,000,000 seafarers worldwide move 90% of consumer goods including cars, trucks and the grain in your cereal.
The point is the industry is something that is here to stay and as such makes it the perfect breeding grounds for adaptation and growth in leadership. Most mariners pride themselves on the industry they serve and we’re no different. Respect, honor and growth serve both the individual and the companies they work for.
Secondly, the opportunities for the Maritime Industry are exponential. As we shift more and more technologically, it’s important for a company to have people that are aligned with their vision in a way that effects the ever-important retention rate. Unfortunately, the gap between some employers and employees couldn’t be higher. We seek to fix that.
And finally, the most important reason we do what we do:
The world needs more leaders.
The world needs more leaders and we’re making them. However indulgent your wildest fantasies, one thing will alway be true; we’re all naturally born with an inclination to lead and taking the time to develop ourselves often leads to better work and greater development of those around us. It’s important to develop and hone these trait because they undoubtedly have a compound success for the companies they serve.
Let's be clear, the success of any individual can never be guaranteed but indications of that success can surely be made clear early on with the proper foresight and client/candidate relationship.
Here at Maritime Talent Solutions,™ we are constantly on the look out for individuals that can help us move closer to our vision every day. Our vision is unified, sustainable workforce that puts candidates first by creating appropriately length roads, scalability, growth and sustainability for each and every worker. What this means is that we believe there's a place for everyone and the Maritime Industry is no different. We know the closer to absolute alignment the better the outcomes are sure to be.
The path towards this mission requires constantly building individuals so that they may in turn, one day or in the present, build up others, resulting in a world-class, sustainable workforce: and aim no one can argue with as it’s internally compromising and set on the premise of work fulfillment and sustainability for all.
